Three great years in Spartanburg, SC, and even a unique Chamber Music Festival in 2020! 2021 is going to be even better! We are excited to announce the 2021 Festival Application.
Dates of Festival: June 20 – July 18, 2021
Festival Location: Converse College in Spartanburg, SC
What is needed to apply:
The application deadline is March 15th. Those received on or after March 16, 2021 will be accepted as spaces are available. Applications remain open until enrollment spots are filled and spots are limited with our one orchestra!
Tuition, including full room and board for all 4 weeks is $4,400.
Submit your application and full payment by the dates listed below. Please allow 10 days for the decision of acceptance. A $300 non-refundable deposit is due one week after acceptance notification, and the remainder of your tuition amount is due by the next mid-month tier date to take advantage of early application discounts.
Tiers of discounts for early applications are made possible by our generous donors.
(For two-week Flute Intensive Program (WISP) programs, multiply tuition costs and early registration discounts by 0.5)
Commuter tuition – $3,750
A commuter option is available for the local Spartanburg and surrounding area students. Please email Sharalynn Hicks firstname.lastname@example.org for commuter details.
Tuition includes: room, all meals, weekly lessons, masterclasses, and multiple performance opportunities.

If writing a check, please indicate tuition and the student name in the memo line. Please note that online payments incur a 3% convenience fee.
Counselors are chosen and contacted for consideration by the Festival administrators. Counselor applications must be submitted by March 15th and decisions will be made by March 31st. Counselors are awarded a scholarship equaling 1/2 of their tuition based on their tier discount. The remaining balance is due by April 12th, 2021.
Scholarships and Fellowships are awarded and announced by March 31st. Apply early for your best opportunity to obtain a scholarship.
Paying tuition is your commitment to attend the festival and fill the spot you have reserved. Therefore, tuition payments are non-refundable. Check out this link for ideas on raising funds for your spot at the 2021 MasterWorks Festival! We have many scholarships, and a work-study program.
