Work-Study

Work-Study and Service

At MasterWorks, we desire to see all students develop the heart of a servant by contributing to service needs during the Festival.

Work study students will have opportunities to serve on the stage crew, as ushers, in the office and facilities, and in other categories. Students will work with the Tech supervisor in advance of the Festival for organizational planning.

Work study students will receive a $600 stipend/discount.

Work study positions are managed by Ian O’Donnell, Tech Supervisor and Operations Manager.

1. Usher—Three main ushers will assist with hospitality and audience care management during concerts and recitals.  These teams will also assist in securing helpers during the Festival.

2. Stage manager—Three managers will be responsible for the stage during rehearsals and concerts.

3. Facilities manager— Three managers will be responsible for equipment needs, and set up/take down before and after concerts/recitals.

How To Apply:

Following acceptance to the festival, email a résumé and cover letter to Ian O’Donnell ian@christianperformingart.org.

Interviews will be conducted by phone.

Requirements:

Students who are 16 years old as of June 1, 2023, and attending all 4 weeks of MasterWorks may apply if they are 

Although not required, prior experience as stage hand or usher is preferred.
