Every day of my year has been dedicated to planning and preparing for you to arrive.  I cannot wait to meet you all this
summer.

20th Anniversary and new facilities…Wow! What an amazing year to be coming to MasterWorks. I am so excited!

There are only 5.5 more weeks before you arrive at the Festival, and it will fly by crazy fast!

So here is what you might need to know:

  1. Extend the MasterWorks atmosphere to others: We are on a new campus, and we are not the only group. Please be respectful of others that you see.
  2. If you have any questions or problems find a MW Staff Member.
  3. Bee Prepared: Bee Blog 5.11.16
    1. Artistically: Practice, practice, practice. Make sure to check your Student Handbook for audition placement requirements for Day 1! This summer is full of wonderful repertoire and performance opportunities, and I absolutely cannot wait to witness you all utilize your talents and hard-work!
    2. Spiritually: This year we are excited to be looking back through previous years of MasterWorks Bible Studies.
    3. Physically: Practice, practice, practice. Don’t forget to pack. See numbers 4 and 5.
  4. What to Bring

Music you want to practice, perform, and work on in lessons
Chamber music you want to work on and perform
Folding music stand
Favorite stuffed animal*
Concert black
Outdoor clothes for those ultimate Frisbee, soccer, volleyball games, and hiking excursions
Clothes (dress code appropriate) for hot summer days and cooler evenings
Closed-toed work shoes and a set of black clothes(with black shoes) for Scholarship Recipients
Toiletries
Towels & Linens (See your student forms for information on renting these items)
Pillow
Alarm clock! (or your phone charger)
Extra blanket if you get cold easily
Candy and chocolate for the office staff*
Laundry detergent to do laundry
Water bottle
Bug spray* and sunscreen
Phone

Oh, have I mentioned practicing?
Bible and journal for quiet times

5. What not to Bringwater buffalo

Quarters – Laundry is free on campus
Swim clothes – Sorry the lake on campus is not for Swimming
Lightsabers and other weaponry
Bad Attitudes

Water Buffalo, large chipmunks, or other pets
