Converse College is a women’s college founded in 1889 and is home to the Petrie School of Music, an all Steinway school with about 70 pianos. The Blackman Music Building contains 30 practice rooms, Daniel Recital Hall which seats 340, and Mayfarth Rehearsal Hall. In addition, the College boasts Twichell Auditorium, a 1500 seat hall that is nationally known for its outstanding acoustics.
Spartanburg, with a population of about 37,000 is located in the upstate of SC, 27 miles from Greenville, SC and 64 miles from Charlotte, NC.

Daniel Recital Hall – Seats 340 and houses a 27-rank electro-pneumatic pipe organ built by Schantz
Twichell Auditorium – a 1500 seat auditorium that is nationally known for its outstanding acoustics! It houses a 52-rank, tracker-action pipe organ built by Casavant Frères.
Lawson Academy Recital Hall – a 125 seat hall housed in the Lawson Academy
