Dear loved ones,
We, the Board of Directors, met at the end of January to discuss and pray for the strategic direction of the Christian Performing Artists’ Fellowship (CPAF) and MasterWorks Festival . We came up with many ideas and plans with many contingencies attached to them.
As we have sought the Lord and continue to, the Lord has been showing us His favor and purpose in what CPAF stands for – honoring God in your vocation, especially in the performing arts. Faculty, board, donors, an d students have all demonstrated continuing dedication and enthusiastic support for the ministry.
Our decision for 2017 is for CPAF to actively pursue events of celebration and vision casting in different communities around the country, in lieu of a traditional 4-week summer festival. So, keep your ears open for those events. They will be good times to get together with fellow Believers and celebrate what God has done and is doing in our lives and the lives of those we reach in our spheres of influence.
Celebration 2017 launches on April 3rd at The Gospel Coalition conference in Indianapolis , with the MasterWorks Festival Orchestra performing Mendelssohn’s Reformation Symphony.
We are working to build for the future vitality and sustainability of the MasterWorks Festival and CPAF.
Proverbs 16:3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
Soli Deo Gloria,
Chip Hill for the Board of Directors
