Performance opportunities include:
SISP begins with one week of Chamber Music culminating in a weekend performance in Twichell Auditorium. Based on application/audition materials, students will be assigned to a small chamber group prior to the beginning of the Festival. Students are expected to practice their parts prior to their arrival at the Festival. Chamber ensembles receive coachings with members of the instrumental faculty. Other performance opportunities include recitals, masterclasses, worship services, and more.
If participating in the Concerto Competition, students should be prepared to compete in the first week of the festival. Please note the deadline and requirements for Concerto Competition entry here. Those wishing to participate in the Honors Recital Competition should arrive at the festival with a recital piece (not a concerto movement) and be prepared to compete during week two of the festival.
